I think for non-professional use, it is serviceable, but think again if you want something pro quality or if you have a lot to do. This makes battery replacement more expensive since you can only use Dewalt batteries. Batteries are not interchangeable with Black and Decker / Porter Cable / Craftsman even though they are all built by the same company. No magnetic holder on top for screws/bits. Power seems fine, but I wish I would have gotten the brushless model (pulled the trigger too fast I guess) I don't think the charger is a quick charger - it seems to take a long time to charge. This is very frustrating when you start a job and both batteries die 5 minutes in. There is no battery meter on the tool or battery. I have to admit I'm a little disappointed compared to my old Porter Cable: Bought the combo (drill and driver) a couple of weeks ago to replace my Porter Cable drill/driver.
